Griffin’s Private Equity Group (“PEG”) is a private equity placement agent and secondary advisor founded in 2008 providing the advantages of a boutique approach combined with the resources and relationships of a full-service investment bank. PEG professionals have previously served as general partners and limited partners in private equity vehicles, enabling them to provide clients with a well-rounded perspective from both the buy-side and sell-side. Because PEG works only on a limited number of non-competing assignments at a time, clients enjoy senior level attention at every stage of execution.

PEG specializes in working with high-quality small to mid-sized funds, emerging managers and spinouts, assisting clients throughout the entire fundraising process. PEG’s market knowledge and fundraising success has led to a number of repeat clients and oversubscribed funds, with over $3 billion raised and advised.

PEG is also a leading secondary advisor to limited partners and general partners that seek to utilize the secondary market to manage situations that demand discretion and speed. PEG assists general partners by managing the sale of limited partnership interests within existing funds or utilizing more complex, structured transactions such as GP-led restructurings and tender offers. PEG also helps limited partners seeking to divest private fund interests through a highly customized and confidential process.
