Investment Banking Internship (King Of Prussia)

Responsibilities

  • Support the investment banking team by providing analytical support on mergers and acquisitions transactions and other financial advisory services for our clients
  • Conduct research to assist with company valuations and financial models, assist in the preparation of client presentations, and gain exposure to live transaction activity
  • Participate in the monthly client driven capital market update which takes an in-depth dive into IB and PE industry trends

Duration

  • 10 weeks in person at the Valley Forge office located in King of Prussia, PA

What We Look For

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program required with a strong interest in middle-market investment banking
  • Preferably a rising junior or senior enrolled in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance
  • Candidates must have a proven academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0
  • Candidates must be eager and able to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a record for high achievement
  • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills
  • Have the ability to function equally well in both a team and on a self-directed basis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Administrative Assistant (Boston)

Job Overview

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to platform of professionals and assists with other office duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary
  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and a professional appearance
  • Set-up meetings, conference calls, etc.
  • Process U.S. mail, Fed-Ex and certified mail per request
  • Maintain both hard copy and electronic files as applicable
  • Order supplies, ensure copiers and printers are stocked with sufficient paper, maintain cleanliness of conference rooms and common kitchen area, update the postage meter, sort and distribute mail and packages, bind, copy, scan and fax documents as applicable
  • Revise documents and short letters as applicable
  • Process/submit expenses platform professionals
  • Make travel arrangements

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and minimum of two years of experience
  • Experience in professional services firm is preferred
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Salesforce preferred but not required
