PHILADELPHIA, PA, September 25, 2023 – Griffin Financial Group’s John A. Lee, Head of the firm’s Commercial, Industrial and Services Group, was a moderator at the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference presented by UBS Philadelphia on September 20, 2023.
Mr. Lee was a moderator of the panel “Taking Chips Off the Table—Exploring Alternatives for Achieving Liquidity.” The panelists, which included former business owners and an M&A lawyer, focused on exploring how owners of middle-market companies can approach liquidity goals. Discussion covered key considerations in evaluating the multiple shareholder liquidity options for a privately-held business.
Mr. Lee is an investment banker who leads Griffin’s Commercial, Industrial and Services Group. He has approximately 30 years of experience providing merger and acquisition advisory services, private placements of debt and equity capital, and management buyout advisory services for middle market companies in a wide range of industries. His experience includes sourcing, initiating or managing numerous investment banking transactions for middle market business and government services, consumer and industrial manufacturing, distribution, and technology companies.
