Griffin Serves as Exclusive Investment Banker to Capital Consultants Management Corp.

Founded in 1973 and based in Scottsdale, AZ, Capital Consultants Management Corp. (“CCMC” or “the Company”) is the national leader in large-scale and highly amenitized community management with a footprint across the South and Southwestern U.S. The Company manages more than 250,000 doors and provides a full suite of community management services, including on-site community operations, financial and accounting services, IT, people operations and lifestyle services.

Situation
The Company’s CEO and majority owner was seeking to transition the Company to the next generation management via recapitalization and also to find a partner who could provide additional resources and expertise to power the Company through its next stage of growth.

Solution
CCMC engaged Griffin as its exclusive investment banker to solicit interest, negotiate and close a transaction on an expedited timeline. Griffin managed outreach to a targeted group of potential partners and received strong interest from multiple parties. The Company ultimately chose to partner with Charlesbank, a middle-market private investment firm with over $19 billion in assets under management. Through the transaction, Charlesbank will become an investor in CCMC alongside CCMC’s management team.
