Sam has more than a decade of experience advising privately held businesses and private equity portfolio companies on transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, corporate divestitures and evaluation of strategic alternatives. He has led and completed more than 25 transactions that reach nearly $2 billion in aggregate value.

Sam helps to facilitate target opportunities and manages the execution of all phases of buy-side and sell-side transactions. His experience spans key industries that include technology, human capital management, media, manufacturing, construction and software.

As a non-practicing CPA (Certified Public Accountant), Sam brings a unique perspective to the financial analysis of target opportunities. From initial due diligence to evaluations of projected financial, operations and earnings data that impact valuation, he provides insights that position transactions for success.

Prior to joining Griffin, Sam was Vice President at Guggenheim Partners where he oversaw buy- and sell-side engagements for private equity clients. His past experience also includes investment banking with Capstone Partners and financial due diligence with KPMG.
