Griffin Serves as Financial Advisor to Akam

Audax Private Equity has acquired AKAM, a leading property management company headquartered in New York City in a transaction that marks Audax’s entry into the property management sector.

Founded in 1983, AKAM operates through three subsidiaries — AKAM, Orsid and Metro Management — delivering property management services to condominiums, cooperatives, single-family homeowner associations and commercial properties, with particular depth in the New York and Florida markets. The company’s “Residential Intelligence” approach has established it as a trusted partner across its communities, supported by a service-driven culture and a strong M&A track record that includes six acquisitions completed since 2022.

Audax acquired AKAM through its Flagship private equity strategy from prior investor Nautic Partners, an experienced investor in the third-party property management space. AKAM’s existing management team, led by CEO Ken Greene, will remain in place. Audax intends to accelerate growth through organic initiatives and continued acquisitions consistent with its Buy & Build strategy.
