Griffin Serves as Financial Advisor to Inframark Management Team

Company Overview
Inframark, LLC (formerly known as Severn Trent – North America or STNA), based in Horsham, PA, is a standalone American infrastructure services company focused on operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems, management of community infrastructure, and related services. With more than 40 years of experience in managing water-related assets, the company employs more than 1,500 people serving more than 200 clients in 19 states.

Situation
Inframark was formerly owned by its UK parent, Severn Trent Plc. (London: SVT.L). Severn Trent Plc. determined that Inframark was no longer core to its strategic focus, and therefore wished to divest it. Inframark’s current U.S. management team (“Management”) was interested in acquiring and investing in Inframark, but required a financial partner to consummate the acquisition.

Solution
Management engaged Griffin Financial Group to serve as financial advisor to Inframark and Management in the June 2017 acquisition of Inframark from Severn Trent Plc. Management engaged Griffin in part because of Griffin’s extensive management buyout experience. Inframark is now owned by a group led by Management and backed by U.S. private equity investors with an emphasis on the infrastructure and industrial sectors, PPC Enterprises LLC and Alston Capital Partners LLC.
