Richard L. Quad Presents at the Maryland Bankers Association Convention

READING, PA, June 12, 2018 – Griffin Financial Group’s Richard L. Quad, Head of the Financial Institutions Group, spoke at the 2018 Maryland Bankers Association Annual Convention on June 5, 2018, in Palm Beach, FL.

In “Tax Reform in Action: From Policy to Practical Application,” Mr. Quad examined the expectations and themes behind tax reform when written, as compared to the trends, reactions and ramifications that have emerged since the passage of this sweeping reform. The session also reset the stage and assessed 2019 and beyond as to the continued impact of tax reform on community banks and customers.

Mr. Quad is a trusted advisor to banking executives and boards of directors of community banks throughout the Eastern United States and a frequent speaker at industry conventions on areas of strategic interest in the banking sector. He provides investment banking services to financial institution clients, including sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A, capital markets and related strategic and valuation services.

Mr. Quad has more than 25 years of experience in both investment banking and commercial banking in the Northeast. As a senior investment banker, he has successfully completed over 60 assignments for more than 40 community bank clients including common, convertible, preferred stock and subordinated debt offerings, buy-side, sell-side and FDIC receivership transactions, as well as strategic and general advisory assignments.

Mr. Quad received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Vermont and an MBA with distinction from Cornell University. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses from FINRA.
