Richard L. Quad Presents at Pennsylvania Bankers Association Convention
READING, PA, and NEW YORK, NY, May 22, 2017– Richard L. Quad, Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Griffin’s Financial Institutions Group, spoke at the 2017 Pennsylvania Bankers Association Convention held May 10-12, 2017, in Marco Island, FL.
Mr. Quad’s presentation, “The Banking Landscape in a Post-Election Environment: How Quickly Things Change… Or Do They?” examined the Trump administration’s impact on the current and future banking landscape. He discussed the bullish “Trump Bump” thesis which anticipates ongoing strong performance and higher valuations for banks in the future. He also covered the bearish possibility of a recession if the Trump administration does not quickly enact stimulative measures to battle negative market undercurrents.
Richard L. Quad provides investment banking services to financial institution clients, including sell-side, buy-side, capital markets and related strategic and valuation services.
He has more than 25 years of experience in both investment banking and commercial banking in the Northeast. As a senior investment banker, he has successfully completed over 60 assignments for more than 40 community bank clients including common, convertible, preferred stock and subordinated debt offerings, buy-side, sell-side and FDIC receivership transactions, as well as strategic and general advisory assignments.
Mr. Quad received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Vermont and an MBA with distinction from Cornell University. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses from FINRA.
