Griffin Serves as Exclusive Investment Greater Berks Development Fund

600 Penn Street is a 130,000 square-foot building in downtown Reading that was owned by Greater Berks Development Fund for over 25 years. Wells Fargo currently occupies the space and will remain until April of 2022.

Griffin was engaged by Greater Berks Development Fund as its exclusive investment banker to solicit offers to purchase the building in Reading. Griffin managed a sale process that ultimately resulted in the sale to Shuman Development Group led by Alan Shuman.

Shuman Development Group intends on transforming the current Wells Fargo-occupied building into both a retail and restaurant space on the first-floor while keeping ideas for the rest of the building open.
