Alan has a wide range of investment banking and financial accounting experience in the financial services sector, and primarily assists community banks with mergers, capital raising and other strategic planning efforts.

He brings more than 30 years of business, financial and capital markets experience in helping management teams and boards understand, evaluate and execute strategic transactions. Alan has served as CFO of a community bank and understands the strategic and operational issues that bank owners and operators face.  He also has significant experience with banking regulations, financial reporting requirements, financial modelling, and securities rules.

Alan’s prior experience also includes over 13 years as an auditor with Ernst & Young where he was responsible for leading audit engagement teams and maintaining client relationships with financial institutions, specialty lenders and investment managers throughout the Mid-Atlantic area.
