ESOP Legal and Financial Advisory Firms Steiker, Greenapple & Fusco and SES Advisors and The Stevens & Lee Companies Combine

Combined Team Forms a Pre-eminent ESOP Practice

PHILADELPHIA, PA, September 4, 2018 – The Stevens & Lee Companies and Steiker, Greenapple & Fusco, P.C. and its affiliated company, SES ESOP Strategies, Inc., today announced they have reached an agreement in principle to combine.

As part of this combination, eight ESOP professionals from SG&F and SES will join together with The Stevens & Lee Companies ESOP professionals to form a pre-eminent multidisciplinary ESOP firm.

The new firm anticipates beginning operation as SES ESOP Strategies on October 1, 2018.

Jim Steiker, Chairman and CEO of SES and Founding Partner and Chairman of Steiker, Greenapple & Fusco, will serve as President/CEO of SES ESOP Strategies and Ed Renenger, Chair of Stevens & Lee’s ESOP practice, will serve as COO.

Professionals in this new organization will continue to work with private company owners across the country to design, fund and implement transactions for succession and sale using Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and to assist current ESOPs to ensure long-term sustainability with substantial employee ownership.
